Emerald Villas & Suites

We definitely... read more needed the hire car which gave us the freedom of traveling the island and seeing all the beautiful sights. The concierge service was always on the end of the phone to provide advice and help with all questions. This really helped make the week special. We had a wonderful time and would recommend it to anyone it's a very private place with all the features you require for a memorable holiday.

They were always there to ensure we were comfortable and provided us with valuable tips on things to do in Zakynthos.
The beauty of this place is simply breathtaking. The views and surroundings are truly picturesque, and the honeymoon suite we stayed in was pure luxury. The attention to detail in the suite's design and amenities was impeccable.
A special shout-out to the cleaning team as well – their hard work and dedication were evident in the spotless condition of our suite throughout our stay.
Emerald Villas and Suites provided us with an unforgettable experience, and we can't recommend it enough. This was a true paradise, and we can't wait to return. Thank you for making our stay so incredible.

  Great stay, although Zakynthos is a bit chilly in October - We had the Deluxe Villa and it was really good. Exactly as described/shown in photos (save the bathrooms have had some wear).

The service was excellent with really... read more wonderful staff. There was great communication before and during the trip and they were very responsive to requests. They set up a WhatsApp chat when we arrived which we could use to communicate with reception, which is down the hill. Dimitra from the front desk responded almost instantly to sort whatever we needed the whole trip.

The Villa was very well stocked with kitchen implements/appliances and dishes and utensils, so you can cook meals if you want. Just know you do need to bring anything perishable or disposable (eg you need to supply your own cooking oil, salt/pepper, paper towels, etc).

They provided enough charcoal and lighter cubes for at least three barbecues though, which was great!

The house was spotlessly cleaned every day. Super comfortable beds and pillows (genuinely, we wanted to buy these for home).

There really was everything you need for a fun group holiday - eg a great sound system inside and outside, a few games, Smart TVs etc.

The only things that caught us by surprise are that the tap water in the Villa is not safe to drink, and you cannot flush loo roll down the toilets (both things were the same everywhere we went in Zakynthos, so it seems a feature of the plumbing on the whole island, not the Villa specifically). You absolutely need to stock up on bottled water before you arrive. There is a Lidl by the airport and we were glad we bought loads of water there. The two small supermarkets near the Villa also have water but it is more expensive.

Otherwise, we had a few thoughts on the property and area, especially this time of year (early October):

Things around were wonderfully quiet because it was end of season, but some restaurants had already closed and others were open but had limited menus because they had stopped buying stock in. There is only one restaurant in walking distance from the property (but it was really good: The Old Windmill). The front desk helped us find other places to go.

It was around 26 degrees outside but this time of year the Villa pool simply doesn’t get enough sun for long enough to warm up. The sea was warmer. You could sun bathe but I think the Villa is in its full glory earlier in the season. Still, wonderful in October though.

Finally, FYI - we mistakenly thought when booking that the little round mini pool in the pics must be a jacuzzi - it is actually just a shallow area meant for kids to swim. There is no hot tub/jacuzzi at the pool, although there are a couple of air jets in one corner.

The place was absolutely stunning me and my partner hardly left and why would u want to with a beautiful view and villa with everything you need there.

The day we landed the team were so attentive to our needs went through everything in villa, places to book for dinner, best places to visit.

We even booked a private chef to come to our room which the food was out of this world, felt like royalty didn’t have to lift a finger which were not use to. But so nice to relax enjoy the views chat and enjoy our night.

Which my partner had been planning with Christina and the chef Alexandros for my beautiful engagement proposal. I was so taken back and I said yes! Everything was so so magical. And to help my partner sort everything with out knowing they done great. I’m one lucky lady!

The sights around the villa, the beaches the people are honestly so beautiful we can’t wait to return.

The villa itself was a dream waking up everyday with the beautiful sunrise from our bed. Our room cleaned every day. Anything we needed, we got did t have to wait around at all. The facility’s where so clean everything u needed was there. The Demetris even stopped at Lidl, so we could do a food shop before going to the Villa.

The restaurants were so nice lots of different food to choose from we done a boat trip had a look around the island. There’s so much I could say about our stay. But all I will say is BOOK u will not be disappointed it’s such a beautiful place to stay and the employees at emerald villas are second to none. 10 star service.

I would just like to say a huge thank you to Christina, Dimitra, Irene, Demetrious, the chef. Even down to our drivers and our cleaners u all made our stay perfect and we’re so kind we’re so grateful for everything and we can’t wait to come back lots of love

  Absolute heaven on earth. - Absolute heaven on earth. The views are breath taking, the villa is completely private. The villa was spotlessly clean. Well equipped kitchenette.   Perfect Honeymoon  - This holiday was everything we dreamed about and more. The pictures do not do the views and the rooms justice.
We were picked up from the airport in an... read more air conditioned car and able to stop at a market on the way to grab some essentials. We were then checked in and shown to our rooms which took our breath away.
We were very well looked after by Irene at reception and were able to choose the time each day that the cleaners would come in. As the suites have an agreement with a takeaway, we didn't leave the room very often, we didn't need to.
This was the most perfect place for us to spend our first week as husband and wife.

  We have found that, generally speaking, it’s rare that a hotel lives up to the images that they post online, or anything on social media - however I can say... read more that in all honesty, the Emerald Cave Suites surpass any expectations. From the moment that myself and my wife arrived, we were made to feel not only welcome, but special, and valued. Whilst our suite wasn’t ready upon our arrival (we were early), the staff took our phone number and recommended places we could visit, whilst we waited until the check in time.

Sure enough, despite it being 13:30, we were called and informed the suite was ready, and we could check in.

We were in Cave Suite 18 and it was quite simply beautiful. The images shown here don’t do justice to how beautiful a room it is, and the features within. As well as the outdoor pool and sunbathing areas, inside we had an exceptionally comfortable bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a hot tub, and a bathroom with a shower which, whilst hot, was a most welcome way to the end the day. The privacy the suite afforded was second to none, and over the course of the time we spent staying there, we spent most of our time draped over various chairs outdoors, or floating around in the pool soaking in the sun and the stunning views.

A special mention must go to Irene, who couldn’t have made us feel more welcome, or more valued as guests. Not only did she show us to our suite and explain all of the features, but she also arranged a boat rental for us, as well as calling to check we were up and about before arranging any house keeping visits. She is a true asset to the organisation, and a part of what makes the experience of staying here so truly special and memorable.

Sadly, our 5 nights came to an end, but we will be back for certain. If you’re wondering whether you should book and stay - do it - you will not be disappointed.

From the check in over the stay over... read more the check out everything was perfect. I discovered this Hotel over the account of dreamy countries and she didn’t promise to much.

The room itself is perfect. Clean, modern and cozy! The pool is amazing and the view breathtaking. You even have your own parking place in front of the room. You can order food from the surrounding restaurants.

Unfortunately the hotel was booked out so we could only stay two nights. I highly recommend this place if you want to relax and have an amazing time. There is very nice restaurants to visit for diner and the cute stone park just around.

The location was perfect for a full getaway experience.... read more The views were stunning. The villa was immaculate. The service was spectacular. Whatever we asked for, we were given. They provided us with beautiful recommendations and got us the best reservations within minutes. The villa was cleaned daily at a time that suited us and on top of that, the people that came to do this were super lovely and very considerate. I would 100% recommend Emerald and the team behind them. Thank you all for such a lovely stay.
